Description

This module provides the laser light source consisting of a temperature controlled laser diode. The maximum output power is 500 mW at 20°C. The laser module is fixed into an adjustment holder (474 211) which is attached to a carrier to place the module onto the optical rail. By means of a Peltier’s element the temperature of the laser diode can be changed in a range from 15 to 40°C. To control the injection current as well the temperature the diode laser head is connected to the controller (474 302). The four precision fine pitch screws are used to align the optical axis of the diode laser with respect to the mechanical axis of the set-up.
