Description

The aim of the experiment P3.1.7.5 is to investigate the influence of the permittivity ε_r on the field strength E. First, keeping the applied voltage U constant a dielectric (glass, plastics) is placed between the capacitor plates and the electric field strength is measured. Second, the charged capacitor is disconnected from the power supply. Then, the dielectric is removed and the field strength measured again.
