Description

In the experiment P1.3.4.1, the obscuration times Δti of two light barriers are measured, e.g. for two bodies on a linear track before and after elastic and inelastic collision. These experiments investigate collisions between a moving body and a body at rest, as well as collisions between two bodies in motion. The velocities

the momentum values

and the energies

of the bodies before and after collision can be calculated and compared.
