Description

The learning system works with hydraulic transperens components. With the complete system, the basics and advanced topics related to hydraulics are conveyed.

Function

Hydraulic elements from ELWE–Technik are operated with red-coloured hydraulic oil. The white base plate further heightens the contrast. A maximum operational pressure of 10 bar (1 MPa) facilitates safe experimentation. The transparent connecting hoses and introduced air bubbles allow learners to fully follow the flow paths: from pressure connection of the pump through to the tank connection. The learning system conveys the fundamentals of hydraulic systems on three levels. The electro-hydraulics are designed for a safe 24 V direct current, which makes it possible to realise even very simple controllers with LOGO! and SPC

Method

The student learns in a very hands-on manner, using practical, realistic examples based on the tasks set forth in the literature. The basis for dealing with measuring devices for determining pressure and the relationship of the hydraulic components in the individual circuits.

Trainees studying industrial mechanic and electro technology with an emphasis on mechanics, mechatronics, cars, and electrical engineering. Also suitable for students completing bachelor studies.
