Distance perception on the skin
Distance perception on the skin

Description

In this experiment, the students will examine the simultaneous spatial threshold of the skin. To do this, they use a tactile circle and discover that the spatial resolution of the skin varies greatly from region to region. For example, it is about 2 mm for the fingertip of the little finger, but about 50 mm for the back.
