CASSY SCADA Energy Management in the Smart Grid

The current LabView Runtime is required to operate the CASSY SCADA software.

A LabView licence is only required to modify the scenarios.

The literature is provided as interactive instructions in LabDoc format. This can be used platform-independently on many device types. It is possible to edit and extend the literature with the LabDoc Editor Advanced (200322).

In order to be able to cover the entire energy demand in the power grid at all times, it is not enough to just focus on the consumers. As the share of renewable energies increases, their volatility plays an ever greater role. Weather forecasts are not always reliable, so measures have to be taken to respond to short-term fluctuations. Reserves in conventional power plants or storage facilities help to keep the grid stable.
