Recording a titration curve

LC1.4.5.3
Recording a titration curve
Recording a titration curve

Description

In this experiment the students record a simple titration curve with universal indicator. To do this, they titrate hydrochloric acid with sodium hydroxide solution. They let 0.5 ml of sodium hydroxide drop from the burette into the solution, match the colour of the solution and titrate 0.5 ml again. This way they can follow the pH value over the whole titration.
