Bergmann’s rule (factor temperature) - Digital

Description

In this experiment, the students learn about Bergmann's rule as one of the ecogeographical rules. They learn that larger animals have a smaller surface area in relation to their volume and therefore the heat loss is lower. This explains why endothermic animals in colder regions tend to be larger than their closely related species in warmer regions.
