The drop counter reliably records the drops of titrant added during titrations and automatically converts them into a volume—ideal for quantitative acid–base experiments as well as conductometric determinations in school laboratories. When used together with Mobile-CASSY 2, a real-time curve is generated (e.g. pH or conductivity), so equivalence points and curve shapes become immediately visible and evaluation is considerably easier.
The drop volume can be calibrated—calibration is conveniently carried out directly on Mobile-CASSY 2. Thanks to the guided drop aperture, the light gate is easy to hit, simplifying set-up for student experiments and ensuring stable measurements. The drop counter is used with a standard burette and therefore requires no additional drop vessels, syringes or valves.
For quick, robust mounting on a stand, an integrated stainless-steel support rod is included. The drop counter also features dedicated holders for a pH electrode and the M wireless conductivity sensor, ensuring the sensors can be positioned neatly and securely.
Ideal for group work: With Mobile-CASSY 2, up to four students can connect simultaneously (e.g. using tablets) to follow and evaluate the measurement together.
