Electric induction on a pair of pendulums
Electric induction on a pair of pendulums

Description

In this experiment, the students explore the force effect of charged rods on electrostatic pendulums. They learn about the phenomenon of induction and that charged bodies can exert a force on electrically neutral bodies without touching them. In the same way, this force can cause a charge shift inside the electrically neutral body. This leads to an attraction between a charged body and an uncharged body.
