Description

Once the basics of magnetism and electricity are known, the students can examine the connections between these seemingly independent phenomena in the subject area of electromagnetism. The magnetic effect of electric current is demonstrated in vivid experiments, an electromagnet is built and induction is observed in various experiments. The construction of a transformer is also part of the scope of experiments. Current and voltage can be measured with the Mobile-CASSY 2 WLAN. If a second voltage is to be measured, this can be done with the voltage sensor M. The magnetic field can be measured with the magnetic field sensor M.
