With the solar module, the Power Control CASSY 773530 operates as a solar power plant.
48 real solar radiation profiles are stored in the solar module. These profiles are used to determine the output power of the solar power plant.
To demonstrate the different conditions for solar energy around the world, radiation profiles can be selected from different locations and seasons with different weather conditions.
You can choose from four different latitudes to cover as many countries in the world as possible.
-
50° North: e.g. EU, Canada or the USA
-
23° North: e.g. Mexico, North Africa, Saudi Arabia, India or China
-
Equator: e.g. Brazil, Colombia, Malaysia or Indonesia
-
23° South: e.g. Argentina, South Africa or Australia
At these locations, daily profiles for all seasons and an annual profile are available.
The influence of the weather can also be selected.
In particular, the last mode is ideal for illustrating the volatility and unpredictability of solar energy.
The two control inputs can be used to set the start time of the radiation profile, trigger the start and limit the output power of the solar power plant.
