Description

The students connect the pancake GM counter tube to the Mobile-CASSY and calibrate it with powdered potassium chloride. Like this, they learn about the concept of calibration. By measuring the count rate and calculating the activity of a certain amount of potassium chloride, they can also convert the count rate into Becquerel.
