How a wire’s resistance depends on its material, length and cross-section

LP3.3.3.2
How a wire’s resistance depends on its material, length and cross-section
How a wire’s resistance depends on its material, length and cross-section

Description

In this experiment, the students determine the resistance of different metallic wires. The resistance wires to be studied were chosen in a way that the students realise that the resistance does not only depend on the material, but that length and diameter and thus the cross-sectional area also play a role.
