Description

The students build a mechanically coupled bar pendulum. The students measure the oscillation period for equal and opposite phase positions. The oscillations of coupled pendulums should be interpreted as oscillation superpositions of the fundamental oscillations. The theoretical relationships for the beat frequency and the superposition frequency are also to be verified experimentally.
