Polarisation due to refraction

LP5.4.3.2
Polarisation due to refraction
Polarisation due to refraction

Description

In this experiment the students will learn that light is partially polarised due to refraction and that the degree of polarisation can be increased by multiple refraction. They will also realise that the polarisation directions of the refracted light and the reflected light are perpendicular to each other.
