For measuring the velocity of light and also the refractive indices of optically transparent liquids as well as optically transparent solids using an electronic modulation method. The light only needs to travel short distances (a distance of just 2.5 m between the transmitter and the receiver provides measured values with an accuracy of ± 1%). Fig.: 476 30 with 300 11
