Description

In experiment P3.4.1.3, the voltage induced in a straight conductor moving through the magnetic field of a strong horseshoe magnet is recorded using the Mobile-CASSY 2. The induced voltage produced during periodic motion in the approximately uniform field between the pole pieces is compared with that produced in the fringe field.
