Description

The virtual experiment on the pV diagram of the hot air engine supplements the demo experiment P2.6.2.4 pV diagram of the hot air engine as a heat engine - results logged and analysed using CASSY

The virtual experiment...

  • links the video of an experiment to the measurement: the video of a real experiment and the measurements involved can be paused, reversed or restarted at any time.
  • is an interactive experiment instruction: The readings are imported into tables and diagrams in sync with the experiment video and are available for analysis. Readings entered manually are transferred to diagrams automatically.
  • Allows students to analyse and record the demo experiment on their device at school or at home.
  • Includes a student part: Interactive worksheet with tables, diagrams and analyses, response boxes filled out on the tablet/smartphone/laptop, readings and student responses saved and shared.
  • Contains a teacher/lecturer part: Comprehensive information on preparation and use of the experiment and sample solutions for the student part.
  • Can be edited and hence adapted to your own lessons.
