Description

The experiment P5.5.2.3 uses a radiation cube after Leslie (Leslies cube). This cube has four different face surfaces (metallic matte, metallic shiny, black finish and white finish), which can be heated from the inside to almost 100 °C by filling the cube with boiling water. The heat radiated by each of the surfaces is measured as a function of the falling temperature. The aim of the evaluation is to compare the emittances of the cube faces.
