Description

Silicone is a special plastic. Next to carbon and hydrogen, it also contains silicon. This changes the properties of the plastic. In this experiment, the students will burn silicone and rubber. The students realise that silicone and rubber must be very different in composition. Conclusions about composition and properties will be derived from the observations.
