Description

The students explore the temperature increase of water in relation to the electrical energy supplied and determine the specific heat capacity of water.

The students are expected to know that the amount of heat (energy) absorbed by the cold water Qa is equal to the amount of heat (energy) released by the immersion heater Qe.
