Networking automotive systems: LIN Databus Wiper

The equipment set A2.6.1.15 "Digitalization: Networked Automotive Systems – LIN-Bus" provides the hardware basis for a collection of experiments that allow the topic to be examined in a practice-oriented way. The experiments presented are aligned with the content of the currently valid curriculum frameworks and can furthermore be extended as desired.

In addition to fundamental experiments, a particular focus is placed on fault-finding. Common faults can be activated and must be identified by the learner using the tools diagnostic tester, digital multimeter (DMM), and/or digital oscilloscope (DSO). In line with the current state of the art, a computer-based DSO is used.

• Access to on-board diagnostic data
• Causes of common faults in data bus systems

Note

To read out the on-board diagnostic data, the OBD adapter CAN+USB, 7379803, is used. Other diagnostic scanners such as the Bosch KTS can of course also be used.
