COM4LAB Course 365: DC Technology II

The COM4LAB course DC Technology II is the second course on the fundamentals of DC technology. Characteristics of various passive electrical components are recorded and the basic circuit types in electrical engineering are practically devised using a number of experiments. The course comprises 15 chapters.

The course covers the following topics:

• characteristics of the following passive electrical components

  incandescent light bulb – VDR – diode – LDR – NTC – PTC

• capacitor

  series circuit – parallel circuit – RC circuit

• coil

  inductance – moving coil instrument

• battery

  series circuit – parallel circuit
