Therefore, this important technology can be part of the LD Smart Grid.
The mode of operation is not limited to battery storage. Other storage technologies can also be analysed. These can be pumped-storage hydroelectricity, but also gravitational, thermal or compressed-air storage.
The parameters of the storage module are
- Capacity
- Charging and discharging rate
- Supply from external sources, e.g. a river at a pumped-storage hydroelectricity plant
- State of charge
The state of charge (SoC) is shown on the display and is also output as a control signal together with the charging rate.
