The Toytomics system was developed to make chemistry lessons more efficient. The patented Toytomics teaching atom model shows for the first time all valence electrons, free electron pairs, plus and minus charges, electrostatic forces of ions and hydrogen bonds, coordination bonds and ionic bonds. The Toytomics system makes it easy to teach abstract concepts of chemistry, such as chemical equations, electron line formulae, structures, bonds, forces and many other chemical concepts.
Pupils experience these complicated teaching concepts without difficulty by playing with the Toytomics atoms in class. As almost all chemical reactions can be represented with the Toytomics atoms, the models can be used in all year groups
.
In contrast to the previous CLASSIC system, the Toytomics MAGNETIC system uses high-quality neodymium permanent magnets to represent electrostatic forces, such as hydrogen bonds or electrostatic attraction forces between free electron pairs and metal ions.
