Transformer Differential Protection

Industrial protection relay for monitoring the transformer (745 50) according to the protection principle of differential protection. The relay measures input and output currents of the transformer via an internal matching current transformer and trips in case of short circuits between windings and windings as well as in case of earth faults. The operating status and tripping are indicated by means of a display. In addition, the relay detects operating states outside the protection range, which must not lead to the transformer being switched off. In addition to the differential protection, the device offers various communication and reserve protection functions.

Programming and parameterization is done with the "Smart View SE" software.
