Description

Electromyography measures the voltage potential of a muscle and records it as an electromyogram. For this, one electrode is placed at the base of the examined muscle and one at the end of the muscle. A third electrode is used as a reference electrode and is not placed on the muscles involved. In this experiment, the muscle activity of the finger muscles is detected using electromyography. An electromyogram is recorded both from the muscles' resting state and during contraction.
