Description

In the experiment P1.7.5.1, beating of ultrasonic waves is investigated using two transducers which are operated using slightly different frequencies f1 and f2. The signal resulting from the superposing of the two individual signals is interpreted as an oscillation with the periodically varying amplitude

The beat frequency fS determined from the period TS between two beat nodes and compared with the difference f2 – f1.
