Description

In the experiment P3.6.1.2, an AC voltage with the amplitude U0 and the frequency f is applied to a capacitor. The voltage UC(t) and the current IC(t) are displayed simultaneously on the oscilloscope. The experiment shows that in this circuit the current leads the voltage by 90°. In addition, the proportionality between the voltage amplitude U0 and the current amplitude I0 is confirmed, and for the proportionality constant

the relationship

is revealed.
