Description

In the experiment P4.1.2.1, the CASSY system is used to record the current-voltage characteristic of an incandescent lamp. As the incandescent filament heats up when current is applied, and its resistance depends on the temperature, different characteristic curves are generated when the current is switched on and off. The characteristic also depends on the rate of increase dU/dt of the voltage.
