The humus content of soil samples

LB3.2.2.4C
The humus content of soil samples
The humus content of soil samples

Description

In this experiment, the students are introduced to methods for testing the humus content of soil samples. They examine the humic content of the soil samples with ammonia solution and measure the pH value of the soil samples with the Mobile-CASSY. They realise that the detection methods are based on humic acids, as a natural component of humic soils.
