Universal, high-performance experimental motor for experiments in mechanics, thermodynamics and electricity.
Thanks to its versatile design, the experimental motor can be mounted both vertically and horizontally on the laboratory bench. This enables experiments such as measuring the induced voltage in a conductor loop moving through a magnetic field using the Induction Apparatus 51640, or investigating the equilibrium height of a levitating ball as a function of rotational speed using the Ball Levitation Apparatus 347531. The supplied mounting adapter also allows the motor to be used in experiments with the Hot Air Engine 388182, for example to determine the efficiency of a refrigeration machine.
