Description

The basics of optics are covered in the chapter on ray optics and geometrical optics. This includes the examination of the various optical components such as mirrors, prisms and lenses. The combination of lenses to build simple optical instruments, such as the microscope or the telescope, are also addressed in this area of optics. In addition, phenomena such as lunar and solar eclipses can be recreated with the Earth-Moon model. Illuminance can be measured with the Luxsensor M and the Mobile-CASSY 2 WLAN.
