Description

Every time the heart muscle is excited, electrical voltage changes occur which spread from heart muscle cell to heart muscle cell. Due to the large number of cells, the resulting voltages can be measured by electrodes attached to the body and visualised in the form of diagrams after amplification. These measurements are called ECG = electrocardiogram.

In the experiment, an ECG of a test person is recorded and the typical shapes are identified.
