Description

In the experiment P6.5.4.4, the individual values of the decay chain of Ra-226 leading to the α energy spectrum are analyzed to determine the age of the Ra-226 preparation used here. The activities A1 and A2 of the decay chain “preceding” and “following” the longer-life isotope Pb-210 are used to determine the age of the sample from the relationship
